Sweatshirt Program

For every school sweatshirt bought by a church member, two are donated to the school. In a nutshell, that's what a Sweatshirt Program is. Through this program, a larger church could potentially donate a school sweatshirt to every student and staff member at the school, and a smaller church could donate enough sweatshirts for the entire football team, band and/or other student groups.

Implementing a Sweatshirt Program can be a high-impact, low-overhead way to serve a school community; it promotes unity within the student body and provides a wardrobe staple for kids so they can stay warm and fit in even if their families have limited clothing budgets. AND, on the church side, it promotes "buy-in" of the church–school partnership and encourages members to serve.

We think that doing a Sweatshirt Program is a no-brainer. Especially since our friends at Righteous Clothing have offered a "buy one, get two free" deal to every church in the United States that is serving a public school. Check out their designs and selection here.
